2013 – Year In Review

Whoa dude.  Can we go back to January and start over?  I think the older you get the quicker these things pass by you.  Or the less effective your memory gets, so you cant even remember if it was fast or slow.  Fast is just the default to place blame.

First and foremost…I love my friends and family.  Thank you for putting up with me through another year.  I have needed your support and friendship and you are all more and more of a beacon in the night helping me find my way through this journey we call life.  Its filled with heart ache, sorrow, smiles, births and deaths, music and noise and change.  Change.  There is some great things that have been said about change.  Its one of the main variables in the human condition.  The better we can adapt to change the better we can survive as the “fittest”.

I need to work on that too.  The F word.  Fit.  Has anyone seen my feet?

I went through my choral music from high school and college and it just brings me back to the joy I felt with the right amount of forced air vibrating my vocal folds.  Some big things coming this year:

1. BArbershopMe – http://www.barbershopme.com

2. Carolina Vocal Express

3. The Heart of Carolina Chorus – http://www.hoccmusic.org

Look out.  Look up.  Look ahead.  The world is passing you by.  By the time you read this it might already be 2014.

Happy Holidays, New Year, and forever.

A social conglomerate fighting for his voice to be heard and a way to motivate the world. Words are all that is between you and success. That and fear. Conquer fear and use the words to tell people about your triumph. You can always win.
