I love this exercise. You have ten minutes to free write and then let it ride.
Check out this website if you want to try it.
I just had breakfast with one of my best friends. I truly value his friendship and I wouldn’t be who I am today without his influence and guidance and just plain and simple, help.
We all go through tough times, right? Bill has been the backboard for me during those times to keep me from going out of bounds. Always there when I need him, whether its financial, motivational, spiritual (doesnt happen often…lol) or about the ladies.
I met Bill at Lee University, in Cleveland, TN in 2004. Our friendship lasted my 9 month period in college, and since we all have so much fun together it stuck afterwards as well. He had a roomate that nobody liked, Matt Danskin…I played Xbox with him every once in a while so he wouldnt kill himself.
Moving on, I want this post to hit you between the eyes. I want you to realize how precious your friends are. I want you to realize how much that guy or girl means to you and if they every need anything, be there for them, they will never forget it.
Words couldnt tell you how much Laura K means to me. My friendships with Autumn, Ashli, Kasey, Melissa, Meredith, girls girls girls…..got me through a few rough years down here in NC where I would have been sitting in my apartment figuring out different ways to beat Halo. They have all made me who I am and for that I am forever grateful.
Send them a card. Show them you care. You never know when they might not be here.
Love you guys.
Gorman
Nice! Thanks Matt – I love you too. You mean a lot to me. And so does my other friend, Danskin, who you kept alive by playing xbox with him.
